Ich hoffe auch, dass Thiem Nizza absagt. Wäre er in Rom in R1 rausgegangen, wäre das noch was anderes gewesen, aber er hat sich ganz gut präsentiert. Jetzt Reserven aufstocken für die FO, da, wo er jetzt angreifen will, braucht er auch gute Masters- sowie GS-Platzierungen.

100% hatte Djokovic nicht, stimmt. Phasenweise war er aber auch überragend. Ob er auf Sand durchgängig spielt wie bei den AO gegen Federer oder in Doha gegen Rafa glaube ich nicht. Kommt immer auch auf die Form des Gegners an. Da sah er auch so gut aus, weil Rafa zu kurz war und Federer war auch vergleichsweise schwach. Beide können bei den FO noch etwas besser spielen. Die Tendenz stimmt aber. Natürlich muss Rafa jetzt noch in den entscheidenden Momenten zupacken, dann sehe ich ihn in Paris durchaus mit Chancen. Djokovic bleibt allerdings Favorit, klar.

Es scheint das IW-Match tatsächlich nochmal übertroffen zu haben, fast schon zu unglaublich um wahr zu sein...

Djokovic startete beide Sätze, vor allem den Ersten, schlecht. Gegen Ende wurde es jeweils besser, ich würde sagen er war dann zwar nicht ganz am peak, aber nicht wirklich weit davon entfernt
